And so here we are - 1 dog, 5 cats, and one rabbit.  Actually, we only have 3 cats but we are on an extended cat-sitting assignment for Nancy's two cat.  They really don't know how good they have it.  They get there meals delivered to them either on schedule or sometimes by demand.  We make sure they comfortable places to sleep.  We clean-up after them (they won't do it themselves).  We give them attention when the need to stroked.  We play cops when scuffles break out in an effort to keep the peace.  Not a bad life.  In return, they frustrating, often demanding,  but endlessly entertaining and often very loving.  It's not a bad trade-off.

As mentioned, we have Nancy's two cats so here is George - somewhere around 10 years old - and king of the world, master of the universe.

And then there's Toby........the youngest of all the cats and so.....he sleeps less than the rest of them and thereby has a better chance of getting into mischief.  He likes to open cabinets around the house so often times in the middle of the night, you are awaken by the sound of banging cabinet doors.  He is almost completely black including a black nose and mouth.  In a dark room, sometime he looks like a mysterious shadow and the only things you can really see are his eyes.

Then there are our regulars Kona, Herbie, and Bud.....

You would think that 5 cats would drive the dog nuts but Sasha tends to handle the chaos better than we do.
