Upon entering the Main Street Hub, hook a hard left hand turn and you
will heading up the pathway to Adventureland. Trust me, the
small strip of land that Adventureland occupies gets crowded and its
probably the most likely place where you are going to physically run
into somebody or somebody is going to run into you. Not sure why
this is other than its a very narrow funnel through this area and the
Indiana Jones Adventure is a major attraction plus it is the fastest
way to walk to the New Orleans Square and Critter Country areas of the
park providing you can navigate through the hoards of people milling
about.
The Enchanted Tiki Room is, well, enchanting and be sure to
have a pineapple float before the performance begins.
I don't think the soft serve pineapple ice cream is as good
it used to be but its still a treat on a warm day. The
Jungle Cruise with their skippers, corny jokes and all, is a
Disneyland original. The Indiana Jones Adventure is a
huge "E" ticket attraction that is very popular so get there
early or get a fastpass to avoid the long lines for this
ride (since the ride is technically outside the park
boundaries, the queuing line is very long). Please
note, the ride bounces and jerks its way around the
adventure so be warned if you have back problems.
Also, Indiana Jones Adventure tends to break down a lot.
I always love to get a bacon wrapped asparagus skewer from
the Bengal Barbecue and have only recently come to enjoy the
jalapeņo cream cheese stuffed Mickey pretzel that is
available here and a few other locations around the park.

Adventureland occupies a small space
and it's biggest ride (Indiana Jones Adventure) is a dark ride that
doesn't lend itself to photos and videos not to mention the sudden
movements of the ride vehicles would make it almost impossible to
focus on anything. So we are left with the always photogenic
Jungle Cruise and the Tiki Room. One of these days I'm going to
feel ambitious enough to drag my lazy butt and climb Tarzan's
Treehouse and get some shots from the top of the tree.
